This policy explains how sierrawellbeing.com handles information. It covers this website only. How I protect information once you become a client is described in my Notice of Privacy Practices.

What the contact form collects

When you use the contact form, it collects what you enter: your name, email, phone, pronouns, who therapy is for, their age, whether they live in Colorado, your preferred call times, how you heard about me, and whether you’re interested in a sliding-scale spot. Please don’t include private health details. The form is delivered to me through a third-party form service.

How I use it

Only to respond to you and set up a consultation. I don’t sell, rent or share it for marketing.

Analytics and cookies

This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. It may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free visit counts from the hosting provider to understand how many people visit.

Email and form communication

The contact form on this website is not encrypted and is not a secure place for health information. It’s meant only for your contact details and the best times to reach you. Please don’t include symptoms, diagnoses, history or other private health details. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in during our consultation call.

Form submissions pass through a third-party form service before reaching my practice email. My practice email is protected under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with Google Workspace, but email itself is not encrypted, so I can’t guarantee the confidentiality of email communication. If you choose to send confidential information by email or through the form, I’ll take that as your informed decision to accept the risk that it could be intercepted.

For scheduling and cancellations, email is fine. For anything about your care, we’ll talk in session. Please never use email or the contact form for emergencies. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
